Ogden Eugene "Gene" Boon Jr.

Ogden Eugene “Gene” Boon, 79, of Ooltewah, TN passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.  

Gene was born in Greenville, MS where he was a graduate of Greenville High School. He served in the Army National Guard.  Later, he met the love of his life Betsy.  After a successful career as the District Representative for the Internal Revenue Service, he retired in 1997.  He loved antique cars, camping, motorcycles, and volunteering at church. He was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ogden Eugene Boon, Sr. and Eunice Boon Jordan.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betsy Boon; sons, Steve (Vicki) Boon and David (Heather) Boon; grandchildren, William, Caleb, Avery, and Skyler Boon.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 12 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
